Our Emergency Response Protocol

School safety is a top priority at Kingman Academy of Learning and we feel it is equally as important that our students, parents, and stakeholders are all aware of the Emergency Response Protocols that are used at all of our campuses.

KAOL uses a nationally recognized program, known as Standard Response Protocol, to help guide us in the event of any incident on campus where communication with staff and students is necessary.  This program allows us to have a common language among all of the campuses and with local first responders who may be dispatched to our schools in an emergency situation.  By sharing this protocol with you, it allows you to know what is going on at your child's campus based on the type of incident being relayed to you by the school.

You can find the information about this program on the menu on the right hand side of this page, as well as in every office and classroom on our campuses.

It is important to know that in certain situations, our campuses may be temporarily secured and people will not be allowed on or off campus until the situation has been resolved.  We ask that you please respect these closures and allow us to handle any situation completely before students are released to parents.

Please contact our School Support Center or any campus with specific questions you might have about our protocols.  And Thank You for your understanding as we do our best to keep our campuses and your children safe at all times.
